Please may we have those details this evening please. Thank you 18:35:23 From amandagregory : There was an announcement today on relaxation of licensing planning and street permissions today. At the moment we have only had more detail guidance on table and chairs licensing on the highways. This will be a more streamlined process with reduced fee. Application fee will be £100 for a 1 year licence (instead of £225) with a 5 day consultation period. We are still awaiting the government plans for alcohol licensing and planning. 18:37:38 From Ed Panek - Salty's Bar and Restaurant : Thank you, where are we able to find those details please? And who can we contact, as we continue to hear from the great team at the IOW council that they still are requiring the full month of licensing even tables and chairs… thank you 18:40:44 From Wendy Perera : Hi Ed - Amanda's team will be taking this work forward. I am sure Amanda will take this up with the team for you as a result of this discussion. 18:51:58 From Ed Panek - Salty's Bar and Restaurant : Will the other ferries, since West Wight is cut off without a ferry, offer more frequent slots, so that people coming to the IOW after the great marketing campaign can actually get here? Thank you 18:52:04 From Michael Bar 74 : Would you recommend getting an app or online system that can manage table service and take customer details? If so is there any funding for this? 18:54:00 From Simon Clark : The Govt guidelines link for PPE is under point 6 of this link https://www.gov.uk/guidance/working-safely-during-coronavirus-covid-19/restaurants-offering-takeaway-or-delivery#takeaways-5-2 18:59:32 From Liv : In terms of layout for tables is a 2m distance between seated people expected or is 1m now acceptable? 19:03:38 From James Howe - IWC : Section 2.3 of the Restaurants, Pubs and Bars guidance provides some information about customer toilets 19:03:46 From tracymikich : Re the toilet, The Seaview Hotel is also a public toilet and could be very busy during the summer. How are we supposed to monitor or check in who uses the loos? Do we have to operate as a public toilet during this phase of the pandemic? Is there any separate guidance re public loo cleaning? We can be contacted via manager@seaviewhotel.co.uk :) 19:04:13 From Wendy Perera : 2m remains the guidance, it only changes to 1m with mitigation - so things like wearing marks (as per public transport) - Amanda can we provide an answer to this question as well as part of our response to this session. 19:04:15 From amandagregory : The guidance says ‘ 2m, or 1m with risk mitigation where 2m is not viable’. 19:05:12 From amandagregory : Yes will provide details 19:05:47 From Liv : Yeah the mitigation part confused me a bit because you couldn’t expect people to wear masks while eating/drinking so thank you for clarifying this 19:07:58 From Julian, Waverley Park : The bh&hpa have released guidance specifically ruling out the need for face masks. 19:09:14 From amandagregory : Mitigation could include perspex screens or even staggering which tables are used at any one time etc happy to look at any ideas. 19:14:52 From Ed Panek - Salty's Bar and Restaurant : Thank you will and Wendy and Amanda and Emma and all who helped us. Much appreciated 19:15:02 From Barnes Edwards : Thanks to all who contributed to this. 19:15:17 From Wendy Perera : Thanks so much everyone - Amanda's team is here to help and support so please ask questions of us if you have them.
