Visit Isle of Wight is seeking a smart, agile and hard working press / PR agency to help us grow our annual “off-island press coverage” from £3million to £5million a year.

We already generate over £3million of press coverage in the UK and abroad through an in-house press officer & Ian Weightman PR. We also work closely with Tourism South East, Visit Britain and Visit Britain press officers and media channels.

We have a strong reputation with travel journalists and writers both offline and on, but we want to build up our destination profile to a wide range of specialist and trade audiences too.

Everything from arts and sports magazines to Cruise liner news, Group Travel Organiser to Marketing weekly. We want to see our destination featured in more online and printed articles, blogs and magazines.

Your task will be to seek out and secure additional off and online coverage in selected consumer and b2b media channels. The contract will initially be for 6 months starting immediately.
