Claim Your Web Page
In order to benefit from the activities carried out through the Wight BID, you need to have a DMS (Destination Management System) record with Visit Isle of Wight in order for us to create your web page on our consumer website (www.visitisleofwight.co.uk) and include you in the searchable listings, campaigns and other publicity activities.
All levy payers and voluntary contributors are entitled to a free standard web page on visitisleofwight.co.uk the top ranking official website for the Isle of Wight – worth £350 a year.
This web page will appear in searches, list your products, show your photos, provide contact details, promote your special offers, and feature your events and additional information (such as restaurant menus and links to your website). More than 2 million people search for holidays, where to stay, what to do and where to eat and drink via this high ranking official destination website.
But your web page is more than just a connection with potential holiday makers, it is also an information source for journalists, specialist audiences looking to bring groups to the island, book party venues, arrange educational trips, and for Visit Isle of Wight to accurately portray your business in a wide range of promotions, mailers, marketing campaigns and press articles. Without this essential page about your business you will not feature in our campaigns, because we just won’t know anything about you.
Easy ways to create your web page:
- Click on THIS LINK to open a separate window where you can start to input your details for publication. Once we have reviewed the information you supplied we will be in touch to help you to get your photos, prices, product descriptions and offers online.
- Contact Jill at Jill@visitwight.org to give Visit Isle of Wight permission to obtain the information we need from your own website including images.
If you already have a web page on the Visit Isle of Wight website contact Jill (Jill@visitwight.org / 01983 521555 EXT 26) to update and show your latest details and images. (Please note that Jill only works Mon – Wed, but you can leave a message and she will call you back as soon she can).
