Beautiful South Awards 2021/22 – enter now!
The Beautiful South Award for Excellence are open for entry and tourism and hospitality businesses from across the region are invited to apply for these prestigious accolades.
The launch follows the success of the 2020/21 awards, held in what was an exceptionally challenging year for tourism, hospitality, and the world. The award process had to be adapted and flex in format in order to deliver, with widespread praise from entrants including such comments as: “It is always a thrill to win an award and is so good for the whole team, but in a year like this it has meant even more.”
Other entrants listed the benefits of entering as increasing bookings, generating PR, boosting staff morale, as well as the free feedback on how their business could be improved.
The 2021/22 awards cover the full range of tourism-related businesses including pubs, cafes and restaurants, accommodation, wedding and business venues, attractions, events, and experiences. As well as opportunities to submit entries for unsung heroes, new businesses, dog friendly, accessibility and sustainability. This year there is a new award for Resilience and Innovation that recognises businesses within the tourism industry who have demonstrated innovation, resilience, and adaptation, along with support for their local communities, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The cost of entering? Free to Tourism South East members – or just £70 (+VAT) per business – for as many awards as you would like to enter!
Winning a Beautiful South Award for Excellence can also lead to national recognition for those who progress through to VisitEngland’s Tourism Excellence Awards in 2022.
