Visit Isle of Wight MD secures board position on regional tourism body.

Visit Isle of Wight Managing Director Will Myles has been voted on to the board of Tourism South East (TSE), the regional tourism board.

Covering an area from Dorset in the west to Kent in the east and north to Buckinghamshire, Tourism South East is an important body that works with other destination management organisations and tourism businesses in the area , also providing a key link to Visit England and Visit Britain.

Will’s appointment was announced at the TSE Annual General Meeting earlier this week. He said:

‘I feel really proud that I have been elected onto the board of Tourism South East and will be able to offer my wide and varied tourism and transport experience to the activities of the organisation, whilst ensuring that the Isle of Wight is always on the radar!’

Making the announcement, Louise Stewart, Chair of Tourism South East spoke of Will’s illustrious career so far in the tourism and travel trade. adding that TSE would benefit from his skills, advice and guidance.

Fran Downton, Chief Executive at Tourism South East added:

‘We are delighted to welcome Will to the Board of TSE, his knowledge and experience will be invaluable and we look forward to his input.’
