English Tourism Week 2020 – 18-25 April

Generating £106 BILLION a year nationally, English tourism makes up 80% of the UK’s visitor economy, supporting 2.6 million jobs across the country.

We know that tourism is a key player in contributing to our local industry, so as England’s number one holiday island, the Isle of Wight is in a great position to be at the forefront of English Tourism Week, ensuring that no opportunity is lost to promote what there is on offer here!

English Tourism Week works best when everyone participates…

This year’s English Tourism Week falls at the same time as St George’s Day, giving the event an even stronger push to help promote the tourism offer across the England.

English Tourism Week 2020 will also see the announcement of this year’s Tourism Superstar in association with The Mirror newspaper – who can forget Red Funnel’s Jim O’Reilly, who swept the board in 2018?

This year’s Tourism Superstars have been announced – and Hovertravel’s Lorry Middleton has been shortlisted – find out more about Lorry by clicking this link!
