EHO’s say to a disgruntled food business owner ‘Your inspection is like an MOT, we can only judge you on what we see today’
This is after the business has received a score that is NOT a
When your car fails its MOT, it is inconvenient, and you just know it is going to cost you. This is the same as failing to get a Food Hygiene rating of 5. It will cost you one way or another.

- In the ‘What to expect when the inspector calls’ work shop, you will learn:
- How to calculate your next inspection date.
- What the inspector is looking for
You will receive a FREE (Normal Cost £8) self-assessment to use when you return to your business to help you evaluate any gaps in your food hygiene systems.
An opportunity to ask a real life (Friendly) EHO all those questions you were a little too scared to ask during your inspection.
So, if you want to be confident that your businesses is in the best position possible to pass its inspection with a , book onto the workshop.
The workshop is run by Ruth Baker of Simply Safer, who is well known for the work she undertakes supporting businesses in the industry.
We are running two sessions on the 7th November 2019, 10am and 2pm, and we have 12 spaces at each session. They will be held at the NFU Mutual offices in Newport.
