The 2019 Winter Leaflet Exchange
Why not put this date in your diary now? Friday 8 November – between 1pm and 4pm at Isle of Wight Pearl.
It’s an opportunity to learn more about your local attractions over the winter season for accommodation providers this November – a chance to let visitors know what’s going on…
Isle of Wight Pearl will be hosting their second Leaflet Exchange of the year, following on from the success of their April event – the only one of it’s kind on the Isle of Wight!
It’s the perfect place to see what is available to visitors to our shores, so they can be better informed and have an even more fulfilling experience when staying – and it’s a great chance to network with attractions and accommodation providers.
The Leaflet Exchange for Winter opening Isle of Wight businesses is a great community initiative organised and hosted by Isle of Wight Pearl. I attended last winter armed with flyers and business cards for my all year round Brighstone based self-catering holiday home. It was a great opportunity to meet other businesses and learn more about their attractions, activities and destinations for winter tourists visiting the Isle of Wight. There was such a varied group of businesses to network with from taxi and car hire to media distribution and tourist attractions and accessibility services. There was a friendly atmosphere making it easy to exchange information and ask lots of questions. I came away from the event with lots of information and ideas of how to improve our winter guests’ experiences.Josie – Mill House Brighstone
It is completely free for visitor attractions and accommodation providers to attend – as Rossane Burfoot from Isle of Wight Pearl explains:
“Come along and be informed about what’s going on for visitors, giving better holiday knowledge and gain more info on new attractions. There will be tea and coffee provided and the whole event is absolutely free.”
Rossanne also promises a special meal deal of hot soup and freshly cut bread at the discounted price of £5!
This will be my 3rd year of attending IOW Pearls networking event. It’s a lovely relaxed atmosphere and a great chance to meet local businesses and other hospitality owners. I’ve made quite a few contacts and it’s helped me write some great blogs for my website. It’s also a great excuse to have an afternoon tea and admire the view 😃Jackie, The Wight Place
