Medina Valley Coastal Community news

Following the creation of a Coastal Communities Team for the Medina Valley we are being invited to attend a branding workshop on 16th January at the Medina Valley Centre.
The Medina Valley Coastal Community team is responsible for the area from Cowes/East Cowes, Gurnard and up the Medina Valley, including Newport Harbour.
It is an important next step in the development of the Medina Valley and one fo the main priorities is to develop tourism in the area.
The workshop, which gets underway at 10am, will be run by by marketing agency Words&Stuff, who have been awarded the contract to help develop the Medina Valley brand.
The purpose of the workshop is to explore the assets and characteristics that make Medina Valley distinctive, so it is important to get input from as many people and organisations as possible. This will help shape the branding, which aims to contribute to generating tangible increases in tourism, community pride, commercial activity, economic and community development and broader awareness of the area’s desirability.
If you cannot make the workshop there is an online questionnaire https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/GPH7Q9V that also gives you an opportunity to get involved.

Limited places are available on the workshop. To book your place please email Lindsay Robertson, medina@wordsandstuff.co.uk by 9th January.
