National Coastal Tourism Academy to open IOW Tourism Conference
Visit Isle of Wight is pleased to announce that John Carmichael, NCTA Deputy Director will be giving the opening conference speech at the 2016 Isle of Wight Tourism Conference to be held at Gurnard Pines 2nd March 2016. His talk, entitled Coastal Tourism: The End of the Line or a Renaissance Waiting to Happen? will examine insights and trends in Coastal tourism that chart the challenges and opportunities ahead.
John Carmichael is the National Coastal Tourism Academy’s deputy director. John has a wealth of experience in the UK tourism sector, most recently at VisitBrighton, before which he was at Bath Tourism Plus and is a tourism graduate of Bournemouth University. John is working with coastal destinations nationally to help create economic growth and jobs in the visitor economy.
