New System Available to View Now

The system that you use to edit your availability and / or update your businesses details for our website ( will be updated within the next few weeks.

Our technical partners have redesigned and updated the system to provide a fresh design that is more intuitive and which will improve the usability.  You can view the new system so that you can familiarise yourself with it before the old one is switched off.

How can I see the new System?

It is available on a stage (training) version of the system now.  This can be accessed by going to and logging in with your usual username and password.

Is it very different from the old System?

The processes and functionality are still very much the same but the layout and the flow of the processes has been improved.  There are also new features which are detailed below.

What are the main benefits?

  • New design – the design and layout have been reworked to make it more intuitive, quicker and easier to use.  The new system will utilise the full width of your screen allowing for more to be visible on the screen at any time
  • Help information – easy access to help information
  • Save and Close – when editing, these buttons will remain visible on the screen at all times so that you don’t need to scroll down to get to the buttons

Hamburgers – what have they got to do with anything?

The new navigation is nestled in a hamburger menu icon.

The hamburger button on the top left of your screen opens up various options to you.

Will I need training?

If you are familiar with the processes in the current system then retraining will not be necessary as the functionality and the processes will be familiar to you, albeit they now have an improved layout and design. However there is a helpful video that can be found when clicking the ‘Help’ button on the hamburger navigation button. Please note that for the self-catering availability system there is not a video as the functionality is exactly the same. All that is different is the position of the ‘save’ button which can be found at the bottom of the screen highlighted blue.

Should I worry if the data is not up to date?

A copy of the data in the live system was taken a while ago so if you’ve added data since then it will not be in the stage (training) version of the system.

Has anything been removed?

Yes, there is one change. Support for Internet Explorer 7 and Earlier Versions – due to the age of IE7 our technical partners are no longer supporting IE7 as it is now very outdated and this is standard practice across the industry. However the new system is more browser compatible and will work on a wider range of devices.

When will the new system be made live?

We have been told that the system will go ‘live’ week beginning the 7th September 2015.
